Coast/Beach
The beach is at the bottom of the hill and is a 1 minute drive or a 7 minute walk. It stretches some 8km and is a level walk from beginning to end. Water sports and scuba diving are available on Mojacar Playa. On Garrucha and Mojacar beaches you can play five a side football and volley ball. Beach bars/restaurants are also available along these areas. Garrucha beach in particular is suitable for young children, having small slides/swings/roundabouts and the sand is cleaned daily.
Golf
There are all the expected golf facilities including club house, driving range etc. at the Marina de la Torre Golf Course which is the nearest golf course at only 500 metres walk away (you can dine at the clubhouse if you wish). Desert Springs, Valle del Este, Cortijo Grande golf courses are all within very easy reach. There is also a driving range 500 metres away.

Garrucha Fishing town 3/4 mile, Mojacar Pueblo (Old town) 2 miles, Aqua-park (Vera) is 10 mins by car, Go-karting 5 Mins by car, Commercial Centre 5 mins by car. Cabo de Gata (Natural park) 12 miles, Sorbas caves 45 minutes drive. Nijar (for beautiful ceramics) is approx 30 mins drive.
There is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill which takes you to many places and gives you easy access to Mojacar/commercial centre/Garrucha and many other places.

Nearest supermarkets, banks, shops, bars are in Garrucha (3/4 mile). There are three four star hotels at the bottom of the hill and you are welcome to use the facilities there also there is entertainment in these hotels on a regular basis. Garrucha is a wonderful working fishing town with superb fish restaurants and is very famous for its prawns and has a very large market every Friday where you can buy leather, lace etc and its worth a visit. You MUST go to Mojacar Pueblo, a typical Spanish white-washed town with its quaint old cobbled streets and excellent restaurants serving local and international dishes and the views from the Plaza are to die for!
