What solution do I have in order to solve the problem?
How does my solution compare to previous solutions? What are its benefits and drawbacks? An engineering thesis is normally found in the solution to the problem. The problem should be general so that the solution is interesting.
An engineering thesis that answers only questions 1 and 3 is not more than an engineering experience report. And this is not good.
